Isabel’s long experience of collaborating with and writing about artists has led to her becoming a popular and trusted interviewer and panel host.
Behind the Studio Doors is an ongoing programme of relaxed and informal online studio visits with members of the Royal Society of Sculptors, from Ecuador to Ukraine, from portrait sculptors to installation artists. Candid and personal, this ongoing series is building up into an inspiring and informative record of the breadth, innovation and diversity of making in our time. Focusing on their studio environments, working methods and collaborators, the sculptors introduce fellow artists and the general public to the many tools, techniques and creative strategies at the core of contemporary sculpture today.
Isabel has spoken, chaired panels and in conversations for DACS, Gallery Climate Coalition, the Bloomsbury and Aldeburgh Festivals, the Barbican the and Royal Society of Arts, among others.
